HFM Architects are delighted to announce that our Associate Director, Dhruv Gulabchande, has been shortlisted for the RIBAJ Rising Star 2024 award.
This recognition underscores Dhruv’s significant contributions to architecture, both through his work at HFM and his commitment to advancing diversity and inclusion within the profession.
Dhruv’s career reflects perseverance and determination. Coming from a South Asian family reliant on the welfare state, he has overcome socio-economic barriers to establish a distinctive presence in the industry. As the founder of Narrative Practice (NP), a non-profit supporting over 700 individuals from underrepresented backgrounds, he has partnered with leading firms and institutions to champion new voices in architecture.
At HFM, Dhruv leads key retail and public realm projects, bringing a strategic and innovative perspective to deliver meaningful design solutions. His focus on storytelling enriches the firm’s work, emphasising the connection between people and place. Beyond practice, Dhruv contributes to architectural education, teaching at institutions such as Central Saint Martins, and nurturing the next generation of architects.
We are proud of Dhruv’s accomplishments and the recognition from RIBA, which highlights his impact on both architecture and social responsibility.
We extend our best wishes to him and all the nominees.
