We're extremely happy to share that Emily Cater will be joining our growing team at HFM as an Architectural Assistant.
Emily Cater
BArch, University for the Creative Arts
Currently Level 7 Architect Apprenticeship, London Metropolitan University
Emily is currently completing her Part 2 and 3 Architect Apprenticeship (Level 7) at London Metropolitan University while working with us. Her previous experience in the residential sector has laid a solid foundation, and through her academic work has developed a particular research interest in timber construction.
At HFM, we believe strongly in supporting practice-based learning, and Emily’s apprenticeship represents a brilliant way to help nurture the next generation of architects. As she balances her studies with hands-on project work, we’re confident that Emily will not only gain invaluable experience but also make significant contributions to our projects.
Outside of work, Emily is passionate about photography and baking. She is also actively involved with Narrative Practice: Sessions as an early career mentor, offering support and guidance to new and current architecture students from underrepresented backgrounds.
We look forward to the fresh perspectives Emily will bring!
