We are all Mentors; We are all Learning

HFM Associate, Dhruv Gulabchande was recently invited to speak at the Arup London office on the importance and impact of mentoring within the creative and technical disciplines in which we operate, titled — We are all Mentors; We are all Learning.

His research driven talk expresses the necessity to; define the overused term of mentoring, to understand and learn of the cross-generational impact of mentoring, and how mentorship can be used for our own growth and development.

Through his mentoring and research platform Narrative Practice, he has committed to over 300 complimentary design reviews and workshops to more than 190 students across 50 different cities across the world.

The talk forms part of an ongoing effort by ARUP’s EDI team to engage with emerging voices to improve access for underrepresented persons within workplace.

Thank you to Julia Cabanas and Anna Helliar of ARUP Group for arranging the talk, to those who joined in the audience and online and to the Sessions Mentoring Initiative Team for their assistance along the way.
