Barry Reid, Associate Director and Architect
Barry joined HFM in 2013, becoming an Associate Director in 2016. An ARB registered architect with 25 years in practice, Barry is an all-rounder experienced in delivering projects across a range of sectors and with particular experience of retail; both tenant fit-outs and Landlord works. In addition, he has significant experience in the residential sector designing and delivering mainstream and affordable projects.
Alongside having a calm considered manner, Barry has an eye for detail and enjoys problem solving and documenting projects clearly at the delivery stages to ensure they are delivered as best possible. He has been key to the delivery of projects including the Pepper Street Dining Quarter in Chester, the new management offices at the Oracle in Reading and a number of customer experience enhancements across the Hammerson Estate.
Prior to joining HFM Barry worked as a team leader on the delivery of large-scale projects such as Princesshay in Exeter, TrinityLeeds and multi-unit residential projects for major developers and Housing Associations.
